Jay Evans COO

Jay Evans is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Interactive Health Ltd (IHL). In tandem with his role at IHL, he is currently a Teaching Fellow at the University of Edinburgh ,an Associate Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, serves as faculty for the Advanced Programme in Digital Health with ISTCE in Lisbon and supports the NHS Digital Academy together with Imperial College London. As part of his global work at IHL and the University of Edinburgh , Jay is Chief Investigator for several RCUK funded studies that seek to democratise the dissemination of digital health tools and build capacity within government to manage digital health initiatives. His experience is anchored in design for scale and impact. In South Asia and Latin America, Jay and his team team deployed community-based mHealth programmes at scale together with governments. This included one of the largest community funded child and maternal digital health programmes in the world .  In addition to the deployment and implementation of digital health tools, Jay has served on the advisory boards to national governments including the National eHealth Strategy in Nepal and the National Digital Health Strategy for Bermuda.
