Harpreet Kaur A/P Darshan Singh is a seasoned pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Universiti Sains Malaysia (2004) and certifications including Good Clinical Practice. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS) and brings over a decade of leadership experience within the organisation, with a strong focus on advancing pharmacy practice and healthcare delivery.
With a background spanning regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and quality assurance in both community and industry settings, Harpreet plays a strategic role in bridging policy and practice. As Secretary of the ERx Task Force under the Malaysian Pharmacists Society, she has been at the forefront of driving the development and implementation of Electronic Prescription Exchange System (EPES).
In this capacity, Harpreet has led multi-stakeholder coordination efforts to digitalise prescriptions and ensure regulatory readiness across public and private sectors. Her work has directly contributed to enhancing patient access to timely and secure e-prescriptions particularly for chronic disease management while reinforcing the role of pharmacists in digital health ecosystems.
At the lunch symposium, Harpreet will share insights on how collaborative leadership and regulatory innovation through projects like EPES can transform medication access and empower patients, while elevating the pharmacy profession in Malaysia’s digital health journey.
