Dr. Hanis holds the Senior Principal Assistant Director position in the Medical Development Division at the Ministry of Health Malaysia Head Quarters, Putrajaya.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in HIS and Digitalization, she has acquired a distinctive skill set that allows her to make valuable contributions to the digital transformation and change management field, drawing from her 10 years of clinical experience. She also possesses a Master’s degree in Health Analytics and Informatics from the International Medical University (IMU) to complement her continuous clinical journey.
Her work involves change management for digital transformation within Malaysia’s healthcare ecosystem, encompassing awareness initiatives, digitalization needs, planning for digital transformation, and providing input on digitalization policies and guidelines for the ministry.
A recognized key opinion leader in health digitalization, Dr. Hanis is part of the Information and Technology task force in the ministry, actively participating in discussions concerning Malaysia’s digitalization landscape.
Dr. Hanis’s passion is to empower healthcare providers with technological expertise, enhancing their work-life balance and facilitating an effective digital transformation program. Her efforts have led to the digitalization initiatives of up to 80 hospitals under the Ministry throughout Malaysia.
